The student’s attendance will be evaluated at Institutional Attendance checkpoints of every 150 scheduled hours for Cosmetology and Barbering, every 167 scheduled hours for Cosmetology and Barber teacher 1000 hour, and every 83 scheduled hours for Cosmetology and Barber teacher 500 hours. Due to the course requirements and the length of program, the 250 hour cosmetology refresher program will not have any Institutional Attendance Evaluations.
A student who is not maintaining at least a 88% attendance (cosmetology and barbering) or 90% (500/1000 barber and cosmetology teacher) may receive an Advisory.
For students with a disability accommodation that do not meet Institutional Attendance, the student’s disability accommodation will be considered as a factor towards maintaining Institutional Attendance.
